YS Jagan featuring Ideas of Demonetisation to PM Modi
Implementation of demonetisation of high value currency is good and the idea swipes out the black currency in the country. But when to apply and how far it is accepted and in what way it favours the common people is all matters. Even though the thoughts and ideology of PM Modi worried most of the political leaders but no one raised their voice of recognition in expressing their inner thoughts of how this demonetization would be helpful to the common people and as well as the welfare of the country in terms of plastic currency?
YSR Congress President and Opposition leader of AP Assembly YS Jagan came up with an idea of how demonetization can be made effective to overcome the prevailing currency crisis and to ensure a successful transformation of cashless currency in the very best way. In his letter to PM Modi, Jagan made evident that the leaders are to make the life of common citizens better; they should not indulge in making a living worse. "Best of plans and best intentions would fail if not implemented properly" Right time implementation in the right way will lead to the success path.
There are no words to describe the common man's current situation but at the same this should not end into a human tragedy. It will not make any difference if the demonetization implemented or made effective from April 1, 2017. He added, Meanwhile the government could print all the currencies in required numbers and see to it that it reaches the banks, ATMs and post offices in sufficient.
Jagan pointed that, if the real estate transactions, gold purchase and bank deposits are under the Income tax scrutiny then the chances would be negligible for one to convert black into white money without go through the process of law. This paves way for the government to bring sustainable change from traditional currency practises to cashless economy by organising awareness programmes and for building proper infrastructure to aid out the possibilities, YS Chief added.
Jagan also suggested forming a committee comprising representatives from all political parties, experts in rural economy, farmers and traders association to rule out the ways for migration to banking operations in a specialised and processed manner. This structure involving demonetisation alone can rule out the issue sooner, he pointed.
